Erin Hill has spent many years as a highly successful graphic designer in the Advertising Industry.
After several years as a freelance designer, a change in direction seemed in order. This was the beginning of a 4year diploma at Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney[NSW]. During this time the idea of bringing together the Advertising and Business experience with Fine Arts began to emerge.
There also appeared to be a shortage of good quality design in the Australian Greeting card market. And so began a business idea.
First came the Koala Angels, a very successful Christmas series. Then came City and beach designs which all did well in their own regions. From there grew a whole range of Sydney and regional designs, each a watercolour painted on location,and produced as the cards and numbered prints now seen in so many Australian and overseas retail outlets, and on our own catalogue.
Regular travel around Australia and to France, Italy and the Greek Isles have resulted in evermore ranges becoming available, and will continue to be the source of new inspiration .
Our print production is in-house and run by Peta Harris, who also has her own photographic card range ( designs soon on our website ) Peta is also our Marketing contact. Cherylee Stokes does all the techno stuff, like scanning and set-ups, and has done so for over 15 years.
So from what began as painting the neighbourhood, and then Australia, has now become 'Painting the World'.
